Farmers Bank to give away turkeys

Farmers Bank is going out of its way to help ensure some Carnegie families will be getting the bird this holiday season.

Errr … better make that getting a bird (as in a turkey).

As part of the bank’s giveaway promotion, Farmers Bank will be giving away a turkey on Thursday each week through December 21. And here’s the best part … it’s free.

To enter into the giveaway, customers need only cut out the turkey on the ad in this week’s The Carnegie Herald (on Page 2) and bring it to the bank. Entry forms are also available at the bank, which is located in downtown Carnegie.

All entries received will go in a bowl/bucket at the bank. The first winning ticket will be drawn on Thursday at 3 p.m. The winner will be notified by phone or email on Thursday. They can then can come pick up their voucher on Friday. The voucher can be taken to Super C and redeemed for a turkey. The winner must pick up their turkey by the next Friday.

After the drawing on Thursday, all the non-winning entries will be discarded. Customers can come in the next week to submit a new entry to the drawing.

Once an individual wins a turkey, they cannot participate in future drawings for turkeys.

As an added bonus, bank customers opening any type of account, will receive three additional entries for that week (4 total).

The bank began taking entries into the giveaway on Monday, November 14. The final drawing will be on Wednesday, December 21, and the coupon will have to be picked up on December 22 because of the holiday hours.
