Dodai Ray Skinner

Dodai Ray Skinner, 61, of Verden, OK passed away on February 4, 2022. He was born to Jerry Ray Skinner and Peggy Holsted on July 8, 1960, in Cheyenne, OK. Dodai was a very proud Class of 1978 graduate from Carnegie High School. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Carnegie, OK.

Dodai worked in the agriculture industry for 30-plus years as a John Deere salesman.

Dodai was an organ donor. In his passing from this life, he became a blessing by saving the lives of two other souls.

Dodai is survived by his wife, Michelle Skinner, Verden, OK, as well as his children: Carly Jean Skinner and partner, Lisa Edelen; Caly Lyn Clemons and her husband, Cory, of Blanchard, OK; grandchildren: Cayman Clemons and Oliver Beaty. He is also survived by brothers: Deland Skinner and wife, Karen, of Carnegie, OK; Dale Skinner and wife, Melody, of Stratford, OK; and Raylon Jay Skinner, Welch, OK; and his mother, Peggy Williams, of Mountain View, OK

He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Ray Skinner; brother, Darin Skinner and his wife, Regina, and stepfather, Jim Williams.

Services for Dodai Ray Skinner included a memorial service at 1 p.m., Thursday, February 10, 2022, at the First Baptist Church, Carnegie, OK. Services were under the direction of Ray & Martha’s Funeral Home, Carnegie, OK
