Chamber's Easter Egg Hunt set for Saturday
This Saturday will be an egg-ceptional day for Carnegie-area youngsters, thanks to the Carnegie Chamber of Commerce.
Chamber officials announced recently that their 2022 Community Easter Egg Hunt will be held on April 16, at the Carnegie Elementary School campus. In all, more than 6,000 colorful Easter eggs will be hidden for area children to find.
During the event, children will be divided into age groups to help ensure they all have the opportunity to participate and to "find" as many eggs as possible. The age categories have been set as follows: Ages 0-2, 3-4, 5-6, 7-8 and 9-10.
Chamber officials advised residents to have their children at the school a few minutes early in order to participate. The hunt will begin promptly at 10 a.m.
Additionally, chamber officials are asking for donations to help cover the cost for the event. Individuals or businesses that would like to help financially can bring their donations by the Bank of Commerce or by calling Kelly Williams at (580) 774-7248.
