New Hope to hold watermelon festival

New Hope Church of Carnegie will be holding its first Watermelon Festival on Saturday, Aug. 20, from noon until 2 p.m.

Music for the event will be provided by the worship team of Fresh Anointing Church out of El Reno.

Juicy watermelon slices that have been grown locally at Triple S Farms in Hydro will be served.

Door prizes will also be awarded to several lucky attendees.
